I literally had this scene because in the original 1999 version Lynnah was just being a snoop in the vein of characters who are allowed to get away with really gross behavior because the author liked them?

And by the time I was an adult I was REALLY tired of that trope so I hit her with a little The Universe Disapproves of You Doing This by having her stumble on something she didn't really want to read. XD

...It's. It's basically erotic poetry, like the title says.

(Later Lette does the same thing but she's actually got some BUSINESS reading some of it. For, uh, reasons.)
