My major problem with "animal rights activists" and certain types of vegan is that you'll meet these people who completely ignore the reality of the animals they're trying to "protect," such as people trying to feed cats vegan diets.
...And for that matter some HUMANS just need more protein than a plant based diet can provide, or can't eat the plants that would provide it.
I've got a number of food allergies that have been sort of a social hindrance to me for most of my life so I'm kind of sensitive to people trying to mess with other people's diets for ANY reason.
