This style was actually done by doing my usual flats and shading in white on top of them
Also I don't think it's super obvious here but I'm actually depicting my avatar character in this scene as much younger compared to how she appears as the Benevolent Grocery Store goddess.
I knew the dragonmarks and specifically X'Zabris were A Thing as young as age eleven.
