Okay so I won't go into TOO much detail except to say that it turned out that my predecessor as custodian at my new job left, um, a lot for me to organize, and also there was a thing happening the week I started so I ended up devoting time to whipping the place into shape at the same time that I was trying to sort out where everything was, if anything was even in the places one could reasonably expect them to be.
Then when I sat down to draw what would have been Monday's page this week on Sunday evening the tablet driver decided it didn't feel like working tonight and I was plum out of patience for its nonsense, lol (you might or might not be able to tell this was drawn without pressure sensitivity.)
BUT I now have a part time job I can actually lean on that shouldn't interfere with the comic once I get my day to day routine more appropriately settled, so YaY
EDIT: The absence of a page on February 7th is due to two completely bonkers days in a row; on Monday I hurt myself after ALREADY having had the kind of day where everything went off-kilter and then on Tuesday there was a lockdown at my kid brother's school (!!!)-- everyone is okay and as I understand it no one was injured in the incident that caused the lockdown (it was at a nearby hospital) but you can guess why I didn't get the page done.
