Okay so yes there is a story here
I'm going to start my explanation of this nonsense by saying that I have a great deal of respect for the man who owns the real grocery store that Dachsund's Market is based on, and that Machiavelli Dachsund is not based on him in any way.
However, said gentleman bears a remarkable resemblance to an older Luigi Mario, so much so that when he burst out from the back room once my first year I nearly had a heart attack from suddenly being confronted with Older Live Action Luigi Mario Mustache And All.
I wanted to put that moment in a comic, but obviously I couldn't just have someone who Looks Like Luigi because I didn't want to base Mister Dachsund on my boss and I wanted to make it CLEAR Mister Dachsund isn't based on my boss.
And that's why he looks like Sephiroth. XD
